Little Acorn Academy’s Curriculum

Here at Little Acorn Academy, our teaching methods are based on the well-established Frog Street© curriculum, which is grounded in research and utilizes play-based, child-driven activities to impart practical early literacy, math, science, and social studies skills.

The Frog Street© Curriculum is a comprehensive, dual-language program that has been designed to meet the needs of diverse learners. This engaging, interactive curriculum celebrates the joy of learning and offers age-appropriate lessons for your infant and toddler, encouraging them to establish an early love of learning. The Curriculum is split into Infant, Toddler, Threes and Pre-K, ensuring every child is learning at a level which is suited to their age.

With Frog Street©, your child will enjoy a variety of engaging, hands-on activities that nurture creativity, boost critical thinking, and make learning an enjoyable adventure that broadens their academic knowledge.

Although structured (which encourages self-regulation in our children), our learning environment is flexible and - alongside the Frog Street© curriculum - our teachers also provide lessons based on their own interests and passions. By honing in on their own specialities, our teachers ensure children are excited and eager to learn!
